Oscailt Integrative Health Centre

Oscailt is the Irish word for "open," and that is the invitation we offer everyone who comes through our door at 8 Pembroke Road in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4. We opened in 2006 as a community resource for the people who live and work around us, from home-dwellers and shopkeepers to office workers and business people, and we welcome visitors from across Dublin too.

We see health and well-being as more than the absence of illness. Our aim is to give people a warm, welcoming space where they can draw on their own inner resources and look after their emotional, mental and physical well-being. We bring East and West together, and you will see that in our teaching as well as in the artwork and design throughout the building.

Mindfulness is at the center of what we do. Our mindfulness and self-compassion program includes classes and workshops in the house, private lessons for individuals, and classes we run for workplaces, schools and organizations. Alongside this, our body and movement classes include yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi and the Alexander Technique, and our calendar lists courses, workshops and retreats throughout the year.

We are also home to a community of practitioners who support one another across their disciplines. You can book one-to-one sessions in psychotherapy, counseling and art therapy; holistic therapies such as reflexology, sound healing, Bach flower remedies, Reiki and EFT; and life and business coaching, hypnotherapy and NLP. Class leaders and therapists can hire our rooms for their own work.
