Grail Springs is a privately owned wellness retreat in Bancroft, Ontario, Canada. Founded by Madeleine Marentette and welcoming guests since 1993, we offer a place to step away from everyday demands and make time for personal wellbeing. Our retreat sits beside a spring-fed lake, surrounded by forest, walking trails, and meditation gardens. Nature is part of the experience, whether you join a guided forest walk, explore the grounds independently, or simply find a quiet place to pause. Our overnight retreats combine accommodation and plant-based meals with morning movement, evening meditation, and opportunities for reflection. Guests can enjoy saunas and hot and cold plunges, or add spa treatments and individual wellness sessions to their stay. Our offerings include massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, Reiki, mindfulness meditation, sound-based relaxation, and life coaching. We welcome people seeking rest, a break from busy routines, or space to consider what comes next. Alongside our signature retreat, we offer themed wellness stays and day retreats, with options to participate at your own pace. For more than three decades, our purpose has remained consistent: to provide a peaceful setting where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and give their wellbeing the attention it deserves.

Yasodhara Ashram is a Canadian charitable yoga retreat and study centre in Kootenay Bay, British Columbia. Founded in 1963 by Swami Sivananda Radha, we are a residential spiritual community on the east shore of Kootenay Lake, on the unceded territories of the Ktunaxa and Sinixt peoples. Our approach brings yoga together with self-inquiry, writing, and reflection. Rooted in Swami Radha’s teachings, Yasodhara Yoga invites people to explore their experiences, deepen spiritual awareness, and bring what they learn into everyday life. Our women-led lineage places particular emphasis on Divine Light and the Divine Feminine. We offer guided yoga retreats, self-guided restorative stays, online courses, teacher training, and our three-month Yoga Development Course. Our Karma Yoga programs introduce selfless service as a spiritual practice, with participants learning through the shared work of caring for the Ashram. The Temple of Light welcomes people of all traditions as a place for spiritual practice and reflection. Alongside our teaching, we practice environmental stewardship and support a worldwide network of Yasodhara Yoga teachers. Whether you come for an introduction or an extended period of study, we offer space to pause, ask meaningful questions, and develop a personal spiritual practice.

Hollyhock is a registered charity, social enterprise, and retreat centre on Cortes Island, British Columbia. We are located on the unceded territories of the ƛoʔos (Klahoose), χʷɛmaɬku (Homalco), and ɬaʔəmɛn (Tla’amin) peoples, whose relationships with these lands and waters continue today. Founded in 1982, Hollyhock began as a gathering place where personal and spiritual development could meet environmental activism and social change. That connection remains central to our work. We welcome artists, educators, activists, entrepreneurs, and people seeking time to reflect, learn, and reconnect. Our immersive programs explore mindfulness, spiritual practice, health and wellbeing, creative expression, and leadership. Guests can participate in retreats and workshops, share meals, and spend time among coastal forests, gardens, and beaches. Through the Hollyhock Leadership Institute, we also support people working in social innovation, climate justice, and community change. Our commitment extends to the island community that sustains us. We prioritize local sourcing wherever possible, support regional producers, and are committed to meaningful employment and living wages. Across our programs and daily operations, our purpose is to renew people’s connections to themselves, one another, and the natural world.
