Grail Springs is a privately owned wellness retreat in Bancroft, Ontario, Canada. Founded by Madeleine Marentette and welcoming guests since 1993, we offer a place to step away from everyday demands and make time for personal wellbeing. Our retreat sits beside a spring-fed lake, surrounded by forest, walking trails, and meditation gardens. Nature is part of the experience, whether you join a guided forest walk, explore the grounds independently, or simply find a quiet place to pause. Our overnight retreats combine accommodation and plant-based meals with morning movement, evening meditation, and opportunities for reflection. Guests can enjoy saunas and hot and cold plunges, or add spa treatments and individual wellness sessions to their stay. Our offerings include massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, Reiki, mindfulness meditation, sound-based relaxation, and life coaching. We welcome people seeking rest, a break from busy routines, or space to consider what comes next. Alongside our signature retreat, we offer themed wellness stays and day retreats, with options to participate at your own pace. For more than three decades, our purpose has remained consistent: to provide a peaceful setting where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and give their wellbeing the attention it deserves.

The International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT) is a professional membership organization supporting complementary and natural therapy practitioners and training providers. Founded by Lawrence Ellyard in 2002, we are based in Byron Bay, New South Wales, and serve an international community. Our beginnings grew from Lawrence’s work in Reiki education and a practical need: helping graduates access professional membership and suitable insurance. That purpose expanded into support for practitioners working across a broad range of complementary approaches. Today, we provide membership recognition, business resources, educational content, and access to insurance through our insurance partners. Our membership certificates and seals help practitioners communicate their affiliation, while our resources support the everyday responsibilities of building and maintaining a practice. We also work with training providers, reviewing applications against our requirements and offering course consultancy and recognition pathways. Approved providers can help eligible students and graduates access IICT membership and insurance options. From individual practitioners to established educators, we bring professional support and community together. Our purpose is to help members navigate the practical side of their work and develop sustainable businesses within the complementary therapies sector.

The Healing Trust is a UK charity dedicated to spiritual healing, practitioner training, and public access to healing services. We began in 1954 as the National Federation of Spiritual Healers, established on the initiative of John Britnell, with Harry Edwards as our first president. In 2009, we adopted the working name The Healing Trust. Today, we support a community of healers and students in the UK and internationally. Our approach centres on spiritual healing as a complementary practice, welcoming people of different faiths and those without a religious affiliation. Our two-year training programme, accredited by UK Healers, combines taught modules, assignments, supervised practice, and personal development. Students explore practical healing skills alongside listening, client care, professional conduct, record keeping, and maintaining a safe environment. Courses are available in person and online. For the public, our Find a Healer directory connects people with practitioners and volunteer-run healing centres. We also offer a free distant healing request service and introductory events for those interested in learning more. Throughout our work, we emphasize responsible practice and clear boundaries. Our healers follow a Code of Conduct, do not diagnose medical conditions, and cannot promise a cure. We continue to support access, learning, and professional standards in spiritual healing.
