Short answer

The Living Map shows how symptoms, conditions and holistic practices connect. Open it from Explore in the menu, search for what you're dealing with, such as poor sleep or anxiety, and follow the threads to related practices. Turn on Show practitioners to see who offers them, then view a profile or book.

  1. Open the Living Map

Open Explore in the menu and choose Living Map, or select Explore the Living Map on the homepage or on any condition or symptom page.

  2. Start with what you're dealing with

Search a symptom, condition or practice, or pick a popular starting point such as Chronic stress, Anxiety or Poor sleep. The map draws its threads out from there.

  3. Follow the threads

Select any dot to open its panel: what it is, its Connected threads, questions to bring to a practitioner, and a link to the full guide. Select a connected item to move the map there. Your path so far shows along the top, so you can step back.

  4. Narrow it down

Select Filters to choose which kinds of items show: practices by MACH pillar, specialties, conditions, symptoms and support options.

  5. Find a practitioner

In Filters, turn on Show practitioners. Practitioners appear around the practice, condition or support option you're looking at. You can limit them to online, in person, travels to you or verified, and set a distance once your location is set. Select one, then View profile or Book or enquire.

Getting around

  • Zoom with your mouse wheel or by pinching, and drag to move around. On a phone, tap a dot to select it.
  • Each kind of item has its own shape: practices and specialties are circles, conditions are squares, symptoms are triangles, and support options are diamonds.
  • Every view has its own link, so you can share what you found or come back to it later.
