Organization roles and what they can do

OrganizationsUpdated Sep 26, 20261 min readIncludes video
Short answer

Organizations have four roles. The Owner can do everything, including deleting the organization. Managers run the team, profile, events, schedules and sales, but not billing. Billing managers handle the subscription, invoices and refunds. Staff practitioners deliver sessions and have no admin access unless you give them extra permissions.

What each role can do

  • Owner: everything, and the only role that can delete or transfer the organization.
  • Manager: invite and remove members, edit the organization's profile and its members' profiles, approve affiliations, run jobs, events and staff schedules, and refund sales. No billing.
  • Billing manager: the subscription, payment method and invoices, and refunds on the Sales page.
  • Staff practitioner: delivers sessions. No admin access by default.

Extra permissions for individual members

On the Permissions page, owners and managers can give individual members extra permissions: Manage organization events, Manage staff schedules and closures, Approve staff services, and Set their own price on organization services. Owners and managers already have all four.
